A hundred and fifty years from now, lab owner and top researcher, SJ, joins her colleagues in mad rush to become the first to recycle the dead by resurrection on the off-earth colony of Meritus, where human life is on the endangered species list.

When her successful bird resurrection experiments near the finish line, she runs out of funds. Desperate to complete her project and move onto human trials, she turns to her powerful rich boyfriend Cole for help. He offers a unique proposal, which she accepts, believing that the reward of revitalized life justifies any cost.

Blinded by her need to succeed, she ignores her best friend Kate’s warning against the strange arrangement. After all, Cole’s shipping business supplies the world with products, so why not new life for the dead?
